Doug Jones
CERT Y's Men Cruise Night “I picked up the phone. It was Dody Crawford. I didn't know her too well at the time. She said she needed someone that understood and could handle the car culture to help out with Rods and Woodies. She reminded me about Tom, the volunteer who had died suddenly in a motorcycle accident over a month before. She explained she needed someone to take his place coordinating it for a while.
I immediately realized, once I got off the phone and began to get involved: This could not be the end! I decided, not only did I want to help keep it alive I wanted to see if I could revive it.” |
