Being part of the Legacies Program has been a genuine pleasure. The energy and
dedication displayed by our Youth counterparts was both inspiring and
rewarding. And, seeing out interviews come alive in the form of their art-books
was truly exciting. In watching Jeanette, Melinda and Colby breathe life into
our interviews; the words clever, original, novel, unique, and creative come to
mind.

When asked if we would be willing to participate in Legacies Nancy and I didn't
need much urging. We had seen some of the results of earlier efforts, so though
it would be an interesting experience. What we didn't expect was to be so
completely caught-up in the whole process and to have such a good time. In
short, it was fun! Kudos to all the teens who worked so hard to do justice to
the Elders. Also thanks to Lois Sunrich and dedicated team of volunteers for
all their hard work.
